“What if that police officer had gone to a more racially diverse school ... [and learned] to understand the history of race and different cultural perspectives? How might some of those incidents played out differently?”

LEARN U.S. HISTORY FROM EVERYDAY PEOPLE OF THE PAST AS TOLD BY THEIR DESCENDANTS

We believe that every story is of historical importance. Each chapter provides historical context centered around a specific individual. Through primary documents, family trees, and a letter written by the descendant of each individual, you'll learn about history through the perspectives of everyday people.

WE USE FAMILY STORIES & GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH TO TELL U.S. HISTORY

Our process for creating the content for our history books is our greatest tool. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Our LegacyTracing™ experts will work with you every step of the way to produce your chapter. All applicants must take and DNA test with one of the leading testing companies, preferably Ancestry, and share their results with our experts.  Applications to participate are now being accepted.

“This is an important and valuable opportunity to give voice to us ‘regular people’ in adding our contributions to America's storyline. Thank you.”
